Job Description

Seeking an experienced Mysql Dba professional to spearhead database strategy and implementation.

  • Lead the development of high-performance databases using Mysql software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database architecture for optimal scalability and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Mysql databases on various platforms
  • Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan, execute, and verify upgrades from one database version to another
  • Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance to ensure efficient utilization of resources
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Mysql DBA roles
  • In-depth knowledge of Mysql database software and its applications
  • Proven expertise in database installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
