System Optimization Specialist

As a senior system optimization specialist, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle for complex infrastructure projects. This includes managing the execution of various technical systems such as HVAC, chilled water plants, utility systems, and building management systems (BMS). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless integration between these systems, guaranteeing optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution & Coordination: Oversee the project planning, coordination, and execution phases for large-scale infrastructure projects involving MEP services, BMS systems, and central chiller plants.
  • Technical Review: Conduct thorough technical reviews of MEP and BMS design drawings, BOQs, equipment specifications, and shop drawings to verify compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, IS codes, NBC, and international standards.
  • Quality Management: Implement quality control measures during site execution to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in equipment installation, piping, cabling, and control systems.
Operations & Handover
  • Performance Testing & Commissioning: Conduct comprehensive performance testing of chiller plants and BMS systems, and develop strategies to optimize plant operation through automation and energy efficiency.
  • Documentation & Training: Prepare accurate operational manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions for facility teams, ensuring a smooth handover of project assets to facility management teams.

This role requires expertise in HVAC systems, chilled water plants, pumps, air handling units, fan coil units, valves, and utility systems. Proficiency in BMS integration using BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks protocols is also essential. Experience in executing projects for data centers, hospitals, airports, and commercial buildings is advantageous.
