Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:

This is a key role that involves overseeing the entire logistics process from import to export, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient logistics processes for importing and exporting sensitive semiconductor equipment, utilities, gas, chemicals, and finished goods products.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Manage transportation and logistics across multiple 3PL sites (internal and external warehouses) to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as transportation delays, supply disruptions, or natural disasters, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian regulations concerning import and export, storage, and distribution of gases and chemicals, including knowledge of IATA Regulations, BIS certification, QCOs, Pollution Control Boards, and PESO regulations.
  • Analyze logistics workflows and KPIs to identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective reverse logistics strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field is advantageous, along with experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Desired Experience Level:

  • Minimum of 12-14 years of proven experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of ODC Cargo, gas and chemical logistics, including Indian import and export regulations, international trade laws, Incoterms, and compliance requirements.
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Strong understanding of International Logistics, 3PL Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, multi-modal transportation, freight forwarding.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders globally and negotiating effectively.
