Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Development and Management:
    Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated application deployment.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure pipelines are optimized for speed, reliability, and security, supporting a fast-paced release cycle.

Infrastructure Management and Optimization:

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure resources within Azure, ensuring high availability and security.
  • Implement and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep to provision, manage, and scale Azure resources.
  • Perform regular cost optimization by monitoring usage, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing Azure cost-management best practices.

Monitoring and Performance Tuning:

  • Set up and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics) to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.
  • Optimize infrastructure and application performance by identifying bottlenecks and fine-tuning configurations.
  • Work with application and database teams to optimize deployments and improve service performance.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular audits, manage vulnerabilities, and implement security measures across Azure resources.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure alignment with organizational security standards.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Act as a technical advisor to development and QA teams, providing guidance on DevOps and infrastructure solutions.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, providing support for a rapid resolution of production incidents.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures to support knowledge transfer and operational consistency.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Azure Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and Active Directory.
  • CI/CD Tools: Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts), GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong hands-on experience with ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep for managing infrastructure.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for scripting and automation.

Experience:

  • DevOps and Cloud Management: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on Azure cloud solutions.
  • Infrastructure Management: Proven experience in managing, optimizing, and scaling cloud infrastructure.
  • Performance and Cost Optimization: Demonstrated success in optimizing performance, troubleshooting, and managing Azure costs.
  • Security and Compliance: Experience implementing cloud security best practices and working within compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with development, QA, and security teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively document processes and communicate complex technical concepts.
