Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and 6+ years of experienced as Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong background in implementing, managing, and automating CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure cloud platforms, DevOps best practices, and modern development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure services like Azure DevOps, App Services, Kubernetes, Azure Functions, etc.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate DevOps solutions across the SDLC.
  • Implement and maintain secure and scalable Azure cloud environments .
  • Manage source control systems (e.g., Git in Azure Repos or GitHub).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights .
  • Ensure best practices for release management , including blue-green deployments and rollbacks.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python , or similar scripting tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and DevOps advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Azure DevOps tools, including Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Proficiency in writing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash , or Python.
  • In-depth understanding of networking, security, and compliance within Azure environments.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git .
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools , such as Azure Monitor and Prometheus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with serverless technologies , such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment patterns.
  • Knowledge of application build and release management best practices.
  • Certification in Azure (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400) or DevOps-related fields.
  • Experience with database migrations and version control tools like Liquibase or Flyway.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
