Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced storage professional to manage our day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with support teams, participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting, and provide configuration and administration for the storage infrastructure.
  • Track existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth, maintain storage documentation and procedures, and report on storage performance.
  • Manage infrastructure events, monitor storage subsystem and SAN switch capacity, perform capacity analysis, and track existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth.
  • Preliminary problem diagnosis and documentation, coordinate with support teams for incident resolution, investigate and diagnose problems for root cause analysis.
  • Mentor junior staff, oversee storage design, installation, configuration, and de-provisioning, and perform performance management for SAN and storage.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in handling majority of activities mentioned above.
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure.
  • Exposure to operations and management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various host operating systems including basic cluster management.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Desirable: Hitachi technical certification.
