Principal Designer

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and design, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing structural designs for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. They will also be expected to collaborate with other engineers and architects to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop structural designs for various projects.
• Collaborate with other engineers and architects to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
• Develop and implement design solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve design solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and design.
• Strong background in mathematics and physics.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
