Principal Propulsion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to design and develop our propulsion systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our mission.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop clear and concise requirements documentation using system engineering processes
• Define and manage system requirements based on customer needs and industry standards
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with the propulsion system
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure mission success
• Plan and execute system-level tests to validate the performance and reliability of propulsion systems

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Experience:
• Proven experience in space system engineering
• Well-versed with the systems engineering process followed by NASA
• Some years of experience in a technical or engineering role, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on system engineering experience gained through college-level projects or within the aerospace industry

• Experience in the application of systems engineering methods
• Manufacturing and production experience
• Working in a geographically widespread team
