Job Title: Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the field of renewable energy. The role involves designing, analyzing and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations to ensure safety, reliability and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize WTG foundations using various methods including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam and others.
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations to ensure the stability and integrity of the foundations.
  • Select and validate construction materials to achieve efficiency and sustainability goals.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, bill of quantities (BOQs), drawings and calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluate designs against relevant codes and standards including BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode and others.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical and CTS teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Power & Utilities sector with focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis and civil design codes.
