We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to spearhead our full stack development initiatives, architect scalable solutions and drive technical excellence across projects.

About the Role

As a Technology Lead, you will take ownership of backend architecture and development, mentor a team of engineers, and deliver high-performance applications. You will work on integrations, custom solutions and platforms such as Magento, WordPress and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks
  • Design scalable, secure and maintainable systems
  • Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI and third-party services
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify and related stacks
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers and implement best practices
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality and effective documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress and Shopify
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI and webhooks
  • Proficiency in:
  • PHP, Laravel, Java
  • ReactJS, Node.js
  • MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB
  • CI/CD pipelines, Docker and version control (Git)
  • Cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple clients
  • Flexibility to work in a small company
