Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive system administrator with 4-5 years of experience in managing enterprise-grade Linux servers and environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux systems across production, staging, and development environments. This includes:

  • Managing, configuring, and monitoring Linux-based systems
  • Ensuring system uptime, performance, and security through routine maintenance and hardening practices
  • Automating repetitive tasks using various tools
  • Handling patch management, software upgrades, and kernel tuning
  • Setting up and managing services like web servers, databases, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS, etc.
  • Implementing and monitoring system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Monitoring logs and system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios
  • Collaborating with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD integration and container support
  • Applying security best practices
  • Supporting incident response and RCA for system failures
Requirements

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Linux systems and networking protocols
  • Strong understanding of system administration principles and practices
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
