Job Title: Linux Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

  • Maintain, monitor and support the stability and reliability of Linux systems in production environments.
  • Leverage a strong foundation in Linux/Unix fundamentals, command-line operations, and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to ensure optimal system performance and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth.

As a Linux Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our Linux infrastructure. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Linux security patches and updates to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Configure and optimize Linux systems for improved performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and implement process improvements that enhance overall system reliability.

Requirements:

  • A strong foundation in Linux/Unix fundamentals and command-line operations is required.
  • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions is necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders is critical.
