About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable functions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

  • Process Invoices: Verify and reconcile vendor invoices in a timely manner.
  • Analyze Accounts Payable: Monitor accounts payable transactions for compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Create and distribute regular financial reports, including expense summaries and aging reports.
  • Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, addressing payment issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage Data: Ensure accuracy of financial data by maintaining the accounts payable ledger.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Improve Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to financial regulations and standards, including tax compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • QuickBooks experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with Indian taxes - GST, CST.
  • Experience in managing vendor payments.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when verifying invoices prior to processing payments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
