Job Overview

The role of an Audit Manager involves overseeing audit processes and activities to ensure they are conducted efficiently and effectively. This includes managing large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing creative solutions to provide insights and analysis throughout the audit process.

Audit Managers work closely with internal business auditors, auditee teams, DWH IT teams, and external vendors to extend support to existing and future automation projects. They coordinate all stages of project development, including system design, development, testing, training, roll-out, and post-implementation support.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading audit-related data extractions, enablement, analytics, and data visualizations/dashboarding efforts
  2. Working with large datasets to understand common data quality issues and cleansing techniques
  3. Liaising with cross-functional teams to provide timely solutions to audit-related challenges
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant data analytics experience, EDW concepts, and good understanding of data mining and programming languages such as Python and Oracle SQL
  • Hands-on experience working with visualization tools like Power BI and SAP BO
  • Good understanding of software development life cycles and prior experience in business requirement gathering and UAT
  • Academic records and certifications in data analytics/data science from a reputable university
  • Background knowledge of the financial sector, preferably with banking knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Engineering degree + MBA preferred
