Job Description

The Finance Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of accounts payable, managing a team to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role involves process management, team leadership, and continuous improvement of AP procedures to optimize efficiency and compliance.

This includes managing invoice verification, processing, and reporting on a regular basis, supervising and managing the accounts payable department and staff, resolving invoice discrepancies by coordinating with purchase teams and suppliers, preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports, and ensuring adherence to internal controls, SOX regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Masters degree in accounting or finance is required, along with 7-10 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, are essential. Additionally, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload are necessary for success in this role.
