The Cloud Architect Advisory role is a career progression path for SAP Basis consultants.

As a Cloud Architect, you will plan and design customers' SAP landscapes, including the RISE Platform. You will work closely with the SAP presales team to understand customer requirements and create to-be landscape architectures.

You will be responsible for discussing landscape architecture with customer leaders and technical teams, as well as presenting assessments and answering technical queries.

This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical information.

  • Learn new technologies on SAP Products, such as S/4HANA, HANA Database, and SaaS Products.
  • Access all SAP internal training and learning materials to gain knowledge in latest technologies.
  • Gain exposure to all latest build architectures in one single position, which is valuable in future careers.
  • Engage with multiple customers across various industries to gain knowledge about different SAP landscape setups, delivery processes, and challenges.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Review Bill Of Material and provide feedback to the Sales Team.
  • Do technical validation of customer landscapes to validate product version build viability.
  • Analyze Early Watch Reports and Technical Data to validate hardware selection and sizing.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team on architecture, landscape, and to-be sizing.
  • Conduct Technical Assessments with customers and perform workshops on networking and HA concepts.
  • Provide delivery support, answer questions, and provide turnover information during sales cycles.
