Product Designer Position

Are you a skilled designer with experience in designing and manufacturing furniture products?

  • You specialise in the design and construction of high-quality wooden furniture and upholstered products.
  • You have expertise in product design, market trends, and production techniques.
  • You have worked closely with labour and operations teams on product sample creation and manufacturing processes.
  • You have collaborated with quality control teams to establish standards for finished products.
  • You have experience working with various materials, including wood, metal, terracotta, fabric, leather, and bamboo.
  • You possess strong skills in 3D modeling and creating pre-production product renders and technical drawings.
  • This role may be an excellent opportunity for you to grow professionally.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be a design graduate from a reputable institution, such as NIFT or NID, with a specialization in lifestyle product accessory designs or furniture design.

  • During your academic course and subsequent experience, you should have had hands-on experience in design and development, specifically in home decor, furniture, and craft clusters, through conceptualization, product illustrations, material explorations, and product development.
  • You should have worked with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, terracotta, fabric, leather, and bamboo.
  • You should have experience in production coordination with craftsmen, medium, and large-scale factory production of similar products.
  • You should have a solid understanding of managing production schedules, production processes, and coordinating with various vendors and craftsmen.
  • You should possess exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that all work produced is of high quality.
  • It would be beneficial if you have experience working in location-specific industries, such as Jaipur or Jodhpur furniture clusters.
  • Lastly, you should have the motivation, dedication, and discipline to continuously learn and improve your skills.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure high-quality materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance product offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the purchasing process.
