Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our team. This role offers a dynamic and self-motivated individual the opportunity to support our engineering and design team in delivering high-quality projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various engineering tasks, including process and system design, project execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and deliver engineering packages, feasibility studies, and conceptual reports.
  • Possess expertise in areas such as renewable natural gas, compression, natural gas dehydration, green hydrogen, and carbon capture.
  • Lead medium- to large-sized projects, guiding and managing teams while coordinating with other disciplines within the organization and internationally.
  • Conduct safety studies, participate in HAZOP, and possess knowledge of Aspen HYSYS and HTRI.
  • Perform line sizing and pump hydraulics for liquid and gas systems, with a preference for AFT Fathom and Arrow.
  • Liaise with international teams to develop proposals and plan projects.
  • Prepare and review discipline deliverables, including PFDs, UFDs, H&MBs, P&IDs, datasheets, vendor drawing reviews, etc.
  • Perform and review calculations and data sheets for tanks, vessels, separators, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, etc.
  • Perform and review sizing calculations and prepare data sheets for control valves, instruments, PSVs, etc.
  • Prepare RFQ/RFPs for packages, vendor drawing reviews, and technical bid evaluations.
  • Provide quality output for engineering deliverables.
  • Review 3D models using 3D review software platforms to ensure process design aspects and design integrity.
  • Work within 2D/3D model environments, reviewing project-specific documents such as piping plans and section views, piping isometrics, and pipe support layouts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to adapt standard approaches, techniques, procedures, and criteria to solve complex problems.
