Web Application Developer Position

We are seeking an accomplished web application developer with a strong background in PHP and CodeIgniter to fill this exciting role.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications that meet high performance, scalability, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
  • Implement clean, well-structured, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with server-side logic.
  • Optimize database schemas, queries, and APIs (MySQL/other databases).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and propose improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of proven experience as a web application developer.
  • Strong expertise in the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Solid understanding of PHP 7/8, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have (Optional):

  • Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
