Job Overview

To ensure compliance with our internal audit methodology, we are seeking a skilled Capex Auditor to conduct internal audits for expansion projects at various locations. The role involves working closely with co-sourced agencies on audits and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure audit execution in accordance with established guidelines
  • Execute audit engagements under guidance from the IA Head Projects/Sr. Lead
  • Evaluate completeness of audit working papers and evidence
  • Deliver audits within set timelines
  • Prepare audit queries and draft reports for discussion with Sr. Lead/IA Head Projects
  • Engage with middle management for audit field work
  • Collaborate with IA Head Projects/Sr. Lead throughout audit execution until report finalization
  • Support report discussions and finalization with CIA
  • Provide support to IA Head Projects/Sr. Lead for audit finalization
  • Presentation preparation for senior management and Assurance Review Committee

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with internal audit frameworks
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
  • Experience in auditing large capital expenditure projects
  • Knowledge of project frameworks, financials, and performance indicators
  • Team management and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and effective communication skills
