Digital Transformation Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our Digital Transformation Initiative. This key role will oversee the strategic integration of multiple portals, guiding cross-functional teams and driving digital transformation across telecom governance and service delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Drive the digital transformation agenda under the new Telecommunication Act
  • Oversee the integration of 40+ DoT portals into a unified platform
  • Build and manage technical teams, including defining resource needs, sourcing plans, and team structure
  • Collaborate directly with senior stakeholders in Telecom, IT, Regulation, and Finance
  • Guide technology teams including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, RPA Experts, and DevOps Engineers
  • Ensure implementation of robust QA, cybersecurity, and testing frameworks
  • Manage training, user support, and communication teams for seamless onboarding and assistance
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, process automation, and performance monitoring
  • Engage with DoT and C-DOT stakeholders to identify regulatory compliance needs and ensure alignment
  • Track emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, RPA) to future-proof solutions
  • Represent the program in strategic reviews, governance meetings, and government-level briefings
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Telecom, IT, Computer Science, or related)
  • 25+ years of total experience in Telecom and IT sectors
  • At least 20 years in senior leadership roles, managing large-scale programs
  • Proven track record in IT leadership, telecom regulatory alignment, and digital systems integration
  • Strong experience in software development, lifecycle management, systems integration, and cloud infrastructure
  • Cybersecurity, compliance, and quality assurance expertise
  • Deep understanding of Indian telecom regulatory framework and public sector ecosystem
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams in complex environments
