
Category Growth Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Category Growth Strategist to drive strategic sales planning and profitability for our Westernwear category.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Sales Planning & Profitability: Develop and execute comprehensive roadmaps for category growth in alignment with organizational objectives. Manage revenue, margins, returns, and cost levers to optimize profitability.
- Brand & Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with key brand partners and sellers. Lead brand negotiations, annual business planning, and joint marketing investments.
- Category & Customer Insights: Utilize internal dashboards and external market intelligence to identify category trends, gaps, and opportunities. Analyze customer behavior, buying patterns, and demand forecasts to inform decision-making.
- Campaign & Merchandising Strategy: Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to create impactful campaigns and brand stories. Drive monthly, seasonal, and event-based merchandising plans to maximize sales and revenue.
- Team Management & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of category executives/associates. Promote a high-performance culture through goal-setting, reviews, and developmental feedback.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute category plans and drive business results.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in category management, sales planning, or related field.
- Proven track record of driving category growth and profitability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
