Job Title: Litigation Specialist

Litigation Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Specialist to join our team. As a Litigation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing legal and litigation-related support to the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal notices, responses, and communications;
  • Reviewing, finalising and filing proceedings before several forums;
  • Liaison with Advocates on Record for timely updates;
  • Briefing Senior Counsels and Counsels for litigations filed by or against the Company;
  • Coordinating with departments across the Company for collating information on any concerned issues;
  • Keeping relevant stakeholders informed on the developments on the litigations;
  • Proactively discussing legal issues and provide solutions to the relevant stakeholders;
  • Assist in strategically driving the material litigations by or against the Company;
  • Ensuring that developments on any matters and pleadings are uploaded in a timely manner on the systems/software maintained by the Company;
  • Generally take care of the litigation matters filed by or against the Company;
  • Respond and pursue insurance claims lodged by the Company under the media liability policy and or director and officers policy;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Law Graduate;
  • Master of Law (LL.M) would be preferred;
  • 10-15 years' experience post qualification;
  • Should have worked in a mid-to-large-sized corporation (preferably in Broadcasting, Media/Telecom) or a reputable law firm with clients in the Telecom, Media, and Broadcasting sectors;
