Job Opportunity

The position of Senior Intercompany Accounting Manager is available in a dynamic organization. This role requires the successful candidate to oversee and manage the end-to-end intercompany process, including managing a team of 3-4 members, resolving queries/problems, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Process Management: The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the entire intercompany process, from start to finish, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of 3-4 members, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Query Resolution: The incumbent will resolve queries and problems related to intercompany accounting, working closely with stakeholders to find solutions and implement changes as needed.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: The successful candidate will assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for the intercompany process, ensuring that financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process Improvement: The incumbent will identify areas for process improvement and work to implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Documentation and Training: The successful candidate will maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the intercompany process, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required. A Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is an asset.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance controllership, consolidations, and intercompany accounting is required. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP and QAD, is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required. Strong leadership and management skills are also essential.
  • Certifications: Certification in Oracle FCCS, Hyperion, or other consolidation platforms is an asset.
