Senior E-Commerce QA Lead

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior E-Commerce QA Lead to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality e-commerce solutions.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level as a Senior E-Commerce QA Lead. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Your expertise in e-commerce quality assurance and automation will be essential in driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage QA and automation teams for large-scale e-commerce projects.
  2. Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications.
  3. Oversee QA processes for Magento and other customized e-commerce platform integrations.
  4. Perform performance testing using JMeter to identify and optimize bottlenecks.
  5. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools like BrowserStack.
  6. Design and execute API testing workflows using Postman.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
  8. Manage defect tracking and reporting via Jira (or similar tools).
  9. Implement best practices in test automation, regression testing, and continuous integration (CI).
  10. Mentor and train QA team members on tools, processes, and automation frameworks.
  11. Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5–10 years of professional QA and automation experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong Magento expertise (or similar e-commerce platforms with customized codebases).
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable QA results in automation and performance testing.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • Automation: Selenium
    • Performance Testing: JMeter
    • Cross-Browser Testing: BrowserStack (or similar)
    • API Testing: Postman
    • Test Management: Jira
    • Mobile/WMS Testing: iOS & Android
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
