Job Overview

The HSEQ Executive is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards across our operations. This role involves implementing policies, conducting audits, training staff, and ensuring that the workplace meets statutory and company requirements related to food safety, hygiene, and occupational health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement HSEQ Policies: Ensure adherence to health, safety, environment, and quality standards across all units.
  • Compliance Management: Verify compliance with FSSAI standards, HACCP, and ISO requirements.
  • Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular audits and inspections of kitchen, service, and storage areas.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures.
  • Training and Development: Organize and deliver HSEQ training sessions for employees at all levels.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of audits, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Investigation and Analysis: Investigate accidents, incidents, or food safety non-compliances and recommend corrective measures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Monitor and track PPE usage and safety compliance.
  • External Audits: Support in external audits and liaise with regulatory bodies when required.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Certifications: Certification in FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, OHSAS, or NEBOSH will be an added advantage.
  • Professional Experience: 1–4 years of experience in HSEQ, food safety, or occupational health & safety (preferably in food service, hospitality, or catering industry).
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and statutory regulations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and ability to work under pressure.
