Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our ICT division as we expand our ITC services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting internal IT teams, managing ICT projects, and collaborating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure operating systems and software, testing for glitches and issues.
  • Support and enhance IT processes, ensuring up-to-date procedures are followed.
  • Manage incident resolution to minimize business disruption and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Provide on-call support through multiple communication platforms, with a strong emphasis on availability and rapid response times.
  • Ensure all systems and services delivered to clients meet business requirements, including monitoring, reporting, training, and documentation.
  • Maintain close working relationships with various teams, clients, higher management, and project managers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Work with clients to review and recommend systems and software for their business needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree or tertiary qualifications in IT Management or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years of experience as L1/L2 IT helpdesk officer in a busy environment.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL).
  • Working experience with ticketing systems (MSP manager, Connectwise, Zendesk).
  • AWS or Microsoft Azure certification highly regarded.
  • Proven track record in IT project management, people management, and leadership skills, together with professional standards of planning and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder expectation management.
  • Sound technical knowledge and prior experience of TCP/IP Network Technology.
