Job Title: Site Manager

Site Manager Role Description

The Site Manager is responsible for leading the site's operational activities, driving business growth and ensuring compliance with company standards.

  • Develop and implement site master plans to drive business growth.
  • Lead the site leadership team in setting objectives, priorities and change management processes.
  • Coordinate all departments to work together in deployment of best practices.
  • Support all departments in implementing MMS practices to meet their broad plans.
  • Coach managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the implementation of site master plans for packaging hall & departmental level

• Set objectives and priorities and lead the change management processes for the department

• Maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating all departments to work together in deployment of best practices

• Lead and support all departments in implementing MMS practices to meet their broad plans

• Coach managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through best practices

People Management:

  • Demonstrate managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities
  • Ensure effective implementation of training & development programmes by aligning site /line management
  • Coordinate TOT and evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with capability programme

Improvement:

  • Provide expert loss & waste leadership and coaching to operational teams
    • Participate in and lead as required improvement projects using DMAIC methodology.
  • Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste and improve operational flexibility
  • Engage with daily operational review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities

Team Meetings & Communications:

  • Implement weekly/ monthly/ quarterly communications to drive engagement and momentum of best practice journey
  • Support task forces and shift based teams in their deployment of best practices through regular meetings and communication of activities
  • Define and establish site leadership team's schedule to support and lead the deployment of best practices
