Job Description
As a UI & UX Specialist, you will be working on the underlying software infrastructure of our robotic system for digital pathology. This role requires an individual who can take initiative, solve complex problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and impact.
Responsibilities
• Interact with Product teams and Integration teams to map business requirements to domain requirements and design qualities such as reliability, high performance, security, reusability, testability etc.
• Analyze, design, and develop high-quality applications supporting multiple browsers like Chrome, Safari, Mozilla, Edge, etc., and mobile applications with enhanced UI features.
• Support development teams on all levels with the right design of all layers and assist Scrum teams in implementing taken decisions such as appropriate technology, tools, solutions, workflow, coding standards etc.
• Conduct live application tests and tweaks.
• Update web applications in line with user trends.
• Conduct user research and interaction studies,
• Translate user stories and business requirements into effective designs.
• Design sitemap, wireframes, prototypes, and UI using Figma.
• Work with Product Management & leadership to evolve our product brand identity style guide.
• Actively work with Software Product Managers to design Product Workflows, Mindmaps
• Work on Brand guidelines from a UI/UX perspective.
• Design Social Media Posts for LinkedIn and Twitter.
• Build a Design Blue Book for the company for all their software products with support from Product & Management Teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong understanding of User Interface models, application design, website functionality, etc.
• Proficiency in Figma, Corel Draw or PSD or Adobe Illustrator, Jira, and CSS tools and frameworks such as Material UI.
• Ability to present demos of wireframes and conduct user research and interaction studies.
• In-depth knowledge of designing, publishing, documenting, analyzing, and managing APIs to drive consumption, collaboration, and internal/external reuse.
• Good knowledge in delivering standard, compliant (W3C, XHTML) and accessible (WCAG, 508) websites.
• 2-4+ years of experience in building UI applications design portfolio for web and mobile apps, for at least 2 applications.
• Experience in Micro-frontend, healthcare domain, and healthcare will be an added advantage.
• Logical/analytical skills in approaching problems systematically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pragmatic and business-oriented approach.
