Job Summary:

As a seasoned production manager, you will oversee daily operations of the manufacturing unit within the solar structure industry. Key responsibilities include leading and supervising all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output and adherence to quality standards.

  • Supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly to optimize efficiency.
  • Design and execute layout plans for new lines/projects including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations to improve productivity.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain to minimize waste and maximize output.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and design teams for the onboarding of new products and structure types to drive innovation.
Qualifications & Experience:

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.
  • Proficient in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows.
