At LearningMate, we are seeking a highly skilled Content Development Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for applying content knowledge and instructional design principles to create digital and print instructional materials across various products, subject areas, and grade levels.

About the Job

This position involves collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, responding to customers following team communication protocols, and utilizing a variety of software and tools to complete job duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective instructional/assessment materials by providing content and standards expertise.
  • Analyze standards and curriculum requirements to create blueprints, scope and sequences, and other project content-planning documents.
  • Write and edit educational materials (lessons, activities, assignments, assessment items, etc.) for assigned products and content areas.
  • FOLLOW GUIDANCE TO IMPLEMENT AND ENSURE CONSISTENT APPLICATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN AND GUIDELINES.
  • Create quality instructional components of print and digital products.
  • Communicate and collaborate within and across functional teams to manage development efforts effectively.
  • Set priorities to meet deadlines for requested tasks and actively communicate the status with the project lead.
  • Update and revise existing content development documentation (process documents, guidelines, etc.).
  • Conduct content-related research as directed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a specific subject area such as Science (Physics & Chemistry).
  • Teaching experience or curriculum development experience preferred.
  • Impeccable writing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Superior written/oral communication skills; an ability to present his/her views clearly and compellingly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to complete simple and complex projects, prioritize multiple deliverables, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000-$90,000 based on industry standards and location considerations.
