This role is a key part of our organization's compliance function. The Compliance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring that all business activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Monitor and ensure the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Assist in conducting internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and training materials.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to stakeholders.
  • Assist senior counsel in preparing legal opinions and reports.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to contract databases and records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of contract laws and commercial agreements.
