Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python automation testing, with expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Pytest framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python, as well as building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Pytest. They will also perform API testing using tools like Postman or Python's Requests library, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

In addition to their technical skills, the candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to participate in all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. They should also be able to collaborate with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and ensure coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver
  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Pytest
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Python's Requests library
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and ensure coverage

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of strong experience in Python automation testing
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Pytest framework
  • Experience with REST API testing using Python and tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing life cycle
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
