Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the highest quality of software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to plan and define effective test strategies.
  • Design and execute detailed test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Identify, log, and meticulously track software defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct various types of testing, including regression, performance, and load testing.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using relevant programming languages and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the overall testing efficiency.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including manual, automation, regression, performance, and load testing.
  • Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, and JIRA (or similar tools).
  • Hands-on programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Ruby for automation scripting.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
  • A master's degree can be a plus.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in quality assurance is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a software quality assurance automation engineer.
