Technical Scrum Master Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead our Agile delivery, Azure DevOps governance, and Monday.com platform management. This hybrid role combines Scrum Master responsibilities with technical product ownership.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, experience with Azure DevOps, and expertise in Monday.com platform management.

  • Sprint Delivery: Lead Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Azure DevOps Governance: Maintain and track sprint artifacts, velocity metrics, and backlog in Azure DevOps (ADO). Approve/manage Azure DevOps access, maintain security, compliance, and role governance.
  • Monday.com Platform Management: Oversee sustainment and enhancement of Monday.com platform integrations, custom boards, and automations.
  • Tech Support: Troubleshoot platform issues, provide technical support, and maintain documentation (runbooks, knowledge articles).
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to manage priorities and expectations.
  • Agile Improvement: Ensure continuous improvement in Agile practices, platform governance, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include leading Agile ceremonies, maintaining Azure DevOps governance, managing Monday.com platform integrations, providing tech support, managing stakeholders, and ensuring continuous improvement in Agile practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Monday.com, Azure DevOps, integrations, custom boards, and automations.
  • Experience in application sustainment, platform support, and working in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and leadership capabilities.
