Audit & Assurance: Senior Associate Role

As a valued member of our Audit & Assurance team, you will provide expert insights to clients by applying your advanced skills and experience to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and business-critical information.

We work closely with top audit firms globally, including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. In this role, you will assist clients in meeting their reporting requirements through an objective examination of their financial statements, timely discussions with management, and a clear perspective for audit committees.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop advanced technical auditing skills across various industries and clients. You will work collaboratively with our member firms and clients onshore, ensuring best practices are in place while delivering high-quality audit work.

  • Possess expert knowledge to work independently in audit engagements, resolving complex issues, updating work papers, and keeping engagement progressing as planned.
  • Have extensive knowledge of audit methodology and techniques in performing external audits.
  • Take ownership of delivery, developing yourself and others through engagement experiences.
  • Execute audit procedures from planning to risk assessment, execution of substantive testing, and working on test of details.
  • Demonstrate professional scepticism and compliance with our risk management policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and engagement teams.
  • Direct field work and inform leaders of audit engagement status.
  • Complete audit procedures for higher-risk areas and broaden technical skills.
  • Contribute ideas to the audit teams and prepare draft financial statements under various GAAPs.
  • Ensure complete, consistent, and documented work papers.

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree with 1-5 years of related work experience or a graduate degree with approximately 1-5 years of experience in statutory audits.
  • Experience in accounts preparation under FRS 102 and relevant applicable standards will be an advantage.
  • Qualified US Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or sufficient coursework to achieve US CPA certification.
