Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our Quantity Surveying team across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and commercial negotiations to ensure financial efficiency and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Quantity Surveying team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for residential and commercial projects.
  • Overseeing tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
  • Monitoring project costs, variations, and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Implementing cost-control measures and identifying areas for savings.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, legal, and contractual standards.
  • Collaborating closely with design, procurement, project management, and finance teams to achieve project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in QS software/tools, MS Excel, and project management systems.
