Stripe Implementation Engineer

A key position within our organization requires an experienced professional to lead the development and management of our Stripe platform. This role combines technical expertise with administrative ownership, necessitating a strong understanding of payment systems and operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering full Stripe implementations and act as a subject-matter expert for all payment-related systems and operations. They will be responsible for configuring workflows, managing user roles and permissions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Implement and administer Stripe modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions).
  • Configure invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds workflows.
  • Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, and integrations with other systems.

The successful candidate will also design and maintain API integrations between Stripe and internal platforms, build test data environments, automate transaction scenarios, and implement monitoring, logging, and alerts to ensure reliability and transparency of payment flows.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. They will work closely with technical and business teams to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and provide ongoing support for Stripe usage.

This position demands experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one Stripe implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules, as well as experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks.
