Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Director to lead our manufacturing operations in Mumbai, India.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in production management, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

About the Role
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end production processes, including supply chain, procurement, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, optimize resource utilization, and minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead large teams and inspire a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership:
  • Oversight of day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficient and timely production of high-quality products.
  • Development and implementation of strategies to improve productivity, optimize resource utilization, and minimize costs.
  • Compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Regular audits and inspections to uphold operational integrity.
Production Management:
  • Monitoring of production schedules and ensuring timely completion of manufacturing goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Management of maintenance and operation of equipment, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or technical issues.
  • Development of strategy and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
Supply Chain, Inventory Management & Customer Servicing:
  • Management of relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Development and execution of supply chain strategies to meet production demands and minimize lead times.
  • Implementation of cost-saving measures across the supply chain while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

  • Salary scale: ₹40+ Lacs per annum + variable component depending on company performance.

Requirements
  • B.Tech / B.E. in Production / Industrial, Instrumentation, Mechanical. Master's / MBA preferred in Operations Management or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end production processes, including supply chain, procurement, and quality control.

Estimated Salary: ₹40,00,000 - ₹60,00,000 per annum
