Job Title: Technical Lead for Web Development

The ideal candidate will oversee our web development division, managing a team of frontend/backend developers to deliver high-performance websites and web apps.

About the Role:

  • Project Management & Delivery: The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end website and web app projects from kickoff to deployment.
  • Team Leadership: They will lead and mentor a team of 3–6 web developers (frontend, backend, full-stack), conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and foster a strong tech culture.
  • Client Liaison: As technical lead and client-facing point of contact, they will translate client requirements into technical scope, timelines, and roadmaps.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: They will work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure design fidelity and responsiveness, collaborate with SEO, performance marketing, and branding teams to ensure SEO-ready, fast-loading, scalable websites.
  • Technical Strategy: They will set up scalable architecture, version control (Git), staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines where needed, ensuring responsiveness, performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.

Requirements:

  1. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  2. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and server-side languages like Python or Ruby.
  3. Familiarity with front-end build tools, CSS preprocessors, and popular frameworks such as React or Angular.
  4. Knowledge of back-end technologies including databases, APIs, and serverless computing.
  5. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
