Job Opportunity

The role provides expert legal guidance and support to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding intellectual property, and facilitating agreements and collaborations.

The ideal candidate should have requisite knowledge and experience in dealing with laws and regulations related to universities in Maharashtra.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, providing legal counsel to the organization.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies (UGC, AICTE, State Government, etc.) and ensure timely filings and responses.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), agreements, and contracts with collaborating institutions, regulatory bodies, faculty, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee documentation related to grants, research funding, and arrangements with various corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with IP lawyers to develop and finalize IP policies, licensing agreements, and privacy policies.
  • Handle corporate and institutional legal matters as required.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Graduation in Law from a premium institute.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with universities preferably in Maharashtra and handled regulatory compliance.
  • Strong domain knowledge in corporate law, excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
