Job Title: Chief Compliance Officer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned compliance expert with extensive experience in managing regulatory affairs for Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). They will oversee the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in law, finance, or business administration.
  • Professional certifications in compliance or risk management are desirable.

Additionally, they should have a proven track record of:

  • Interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements specific to NBFCs.
  • Developing and maintaining effective internal control frameworks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure NBFC's adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including RBI guidelines, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.
  2. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential compliance risks, proposing mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
  3. Policy Development: Develop and implement internal policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
