Senior Visual Artist - Look Development

This role requires a highly skilled artist to contribute to shaping the visual identity of large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining materials, shaders, textures & Large Scale Environments to achieve photorealistic results.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Materials, Shaders & Textures: Create and refine materials, shaders, and textures to achieve realistic and cinematic results in large-scale environments.
  • Implement Look Development Standards: Define and implement look development standards across large-scale environments to ensure optimized asset workflows.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with FX, animation, and other teams to maintain consistency and quality across productions.
  • Troubleshoot and Optimize Scenes: Troubleshoot and optimize scenes for performance in both offline and real-time rendering pipelines.
  • Maintain High Quality Output: Ensure the highest level of detail and artistic quality while maintaining alignment with the project's creative vision.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance lookdev pipelines.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6–7 years of professional experience in look development, shading, set building, and rendering.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in V-Ray, Octane, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine 5+ (with strong understanding of path tracing and optimization).
  • Artistic Foundation: Strong eye for set composition, color theory, and aesthetics with proven ability to achieve photoreal output.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in DCC tools such as Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Maya, and Substance.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced production environment.
