Job Description

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for delivering complex models and addressing business problems by applying expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences. You will build, deploy, and maintain predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems.

You will lead a team of data scientists independently with high autonomy and accountability, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, and translate them into analytical solutions. Furthermore, you will communicate analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership effectively.

Requirements
  • 6+ years in Machine Learning, and Statistical Modeling in e-commerce or related environments
  • Expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques (Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning)
  • Effective communication and presentation of complex quantitative analyses
  • Prior experience working in the eCommerce sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution
