Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex instrumentation systems, including valve sizing, flow elements, and instrument selection.
  • Create and review engineering documents, such as instrument indexes, I/O lists, datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, TBEs, C&E matrices, control narratives, cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, loop drawings.
  • Collaborate with vendors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth design interface.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring delivery of high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in instrumentation design, analysis, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as SPI, Aveva Instrumentation, Navisworks (added advantage).
  • Knowledge of valve sizing, flow elements, and use of sizing software such as InstruCalc.
  • Ability to lead, train, coach, and mentor team members.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in instrumentation design and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of valve sizing and flow element selection.
  • Proficiency in software tools: SPI, Aveva Instrumentation, Navisworks.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
