Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for studying and reviewing Process ID diagrams, preparing instrumentation data sheets, and finalizing installation standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Study and review of Process ID diagrams, including PFDs, instrument types, and process descriptions
  • Review of process datasheets, plot plans, line lists, piping material specifications, equipment layouts, vessel datasheets, and area classifications
  • Preparation of Instrumentation Data Sheets for various flow, level, pressure, and temperature instruments
  • Sizing of Pressure Safety Valves and Pressure Control Valves using API 520 and ISA 75 standards
  • Preparation and finalization of installation standards, process pneumatic hook-ups, and Installation Hardware MTO
  • Flow element sizing calculations using ISO 5167 Standard
  • Preparation of Functional Schematic diagrams, instrument electrical interface details, and material requisitions
  • Creation of Instrument Index, IO Lists, cable schedules, and junction box wiring diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of DCS and PLC Systems, System Architecture, Cabinet, and Panel GA for DCS, SIS, and PLC systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 1-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering
  • Strong knowledge of API 520 and ISA 75 standards
  • Experience with HAZOP studies and node-wise preparation of HAZOP worksheets
  • Familiarity with DCS and PLC Systems, System Architecture, Cabinet, and Panel GA for DCS, SIS, and PLC systems
