Senior Supply Chain Analyst Position

As a key member of the global supply chain team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Target's logistics strategy. You will leverage advanced analytics and data science to drive business growth, optimize supply chain operations, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new strategies for inventory management, transportation optimization, and purchasing decisions.
  • Design and deploy machine learning models to predict demand, identify trends, and inform strategic business decisions.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop recommendations for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reporting.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis, with expertise in applying these techniques to real-world business problems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across locations and time zones.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics.
