Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and usability. This includes developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Identify and report defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and to develop effective testing strategies
  • Collaborate with QA teams to share best practices and to improve overall quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve testing processes and strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and identify key issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and principles
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and documentation

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
