About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to play a critical role in designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and transformation frameworks that enable analytics, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities across the enterprise.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, resilient, and efficient data engineering solutions using modern tools and best practices.

  • Design and Build Scalable ETL/ELT Pipelines: Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (Spark), and Azure Synapse Analytics to create data pipelines.
  • Develop and Optimize PySpark/Spark SQL Jobs: Implement large-scale batch and streaming data transformations using Azure services.
  • Ingest Data from Various Sources: Ensure real-time or near-real-time availability of data from Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and RDBMS.
  • Implement Data Modeling Strategies: Design star schema and snowflake schema for analytics consumption layers in Synapse or ADLS.
  • Collaborate with DevOps Teams: Automate deployment using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Must-Have Skills:

  • Data Engineering Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Azure Services: Hands-on experience with ADF, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Apache Kafka.
  • Programming Languages: Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Spark for data manipulation and transformation.
  • CICD Practices: Exposure to CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps, Git workflows, build/release pipelines).
