We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the evaluation and transformation of our clients' existing enterprise cloud setup.

This role requires excellent technical expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate current-state GCP setups and deliver clear improvement plans.
  • Design/modify architectures using GCP services such as VPC, subnets, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, IAM, Service Accounts, and Secrets Manager.
  • Build and run workloads on GKE and/or Compute Engine, containerise where sensible, and tune autoscaling.
  • Configure Cloud SQL / Spanner / Memorystore / BigQuery as relevant, backup/restore, HA/DR patterns.
  • Set up CI/CD with policy checks and environment promotion.
  • Implement monitoring/alerting with Cloud Monitoring & Logging, SLOs/error budgets where appropriate.
  • Harden security (SCC, IAM least-privilege, org policies, VPC-SC, private access) and advise on compliance.
  • Optimise costs (rightsizing, committed use/Autopilot, storage lifecycle, data egress patterns).
Requirements
  • 4+ years in cloud infrastructure with 3+ on GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of: VPC design, routing/NAT, load balancing, IAM, GKE/containers, Linux fundamentals.
  • Experience introducing controls: org policies, folder/project structure, billing budgets/alerts, SCC.
  • Proven ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver safely in regulated/enterprise contexts.
  • Excellent English oral communication skills.
